Bridge collapsed at Rangchang at Singtam –Mangan Highway

Gangtok, December 20: The Chief Minister Pawan Chamling is deeply saddened to know of the persons killed and injured in the collapse of the Rangchang Bridge at Singtam –Mangan Highway on Monday. The Chief Minister conveys his heartfelt condolences to the aggrieved families.
The Chief Minister has announced an ex-gratia of Rs.1 lakh each to the next of kin of the deceased person and Rs. 20,000 each to the injured persons.
He has also ordered for an immediate enquiry on the bridge which collapsed.
